This website, www.jozefforfullerton.com, is operated by Jozef Maldonado for City Council 2026 (the “Campaign”), FPPC ID #1486844. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you fill out the Get Involved form on this site, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, your volunteer interests, and, if you provide it, your mobile phone number. Providing a phone number is optional. If you check the text message opt-in box, we also record that you consented to receive texts, the wording you agreed to, and the time of your consent.

How we use it

We use your information only for Campaign purposes: to contact you about volunteering, yard signs, events, campaign updates, and the November 3, 2026, election, and, if you opted in, to send you text messages as described in the Terms below. Contributions are processed by Numero on its own website and under its own privacy policy; this site does not collect or store payment information.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties unless required by law. We use service providers (our website host and our text messaging platform) solely to operate the site and deliver Campaign messages on our behalf; they may not use your information for any other purpose.

Your choices

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. To be removed from our email or volunteer lists, or to ask what information we hold about you, email jozef@jozefforfullerton.com.

Cookies and analytics

This site runs on Squarespace, which sets the cookies needed for the site to work and collects basic, aggregated analytics such as pages visited and browser type. We do not run third-party advertising. Our website may contain links to external websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.

Terms & Conditions: Text Message Program

Program name: Jozef Maldonado for City Council 2026 campaign texts.

Program description: When you opt in on our website, you agree to receive text messages from the Campaign at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent by an autodialer. Messages may include campaign updates, volunteer opportunities, event reminders, election and voting information, and requests for donations. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of volunteering or donating.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive more messages in the weeks before the November 3, 2026, election.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

Opt out (STOP): Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation text and no further messages unless you opt in again.

Supported carriers: Major U.S. carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
